Gibson instead of Ben Mee should have been tried long before now. Dyche had the perfect opportunity to do it after the Everton game on Boxing Day.

If Gibson doesn't come in for one of them in the Wolves game, something is seriously wrong.

Both been awful this season

We have a team full of undroppables, which contributes to the number of lacklustre performances.

I'd bring Gibson but alongside Tarkowski. I'd be tempted to Lowton in as well but to be fair to Bardsley he's been reliable.

Gibson has had to wait like Tarkowski was,we won't see Gibson starting till next season when Tarkowski has left to join someone like Everton.

When we are desparate to get it on the deck and spray it around against 10 men, Ben Mee is the last person we need. Gibson would improve us for sure.

Ben Mee did nothing wrong yesterday and a lot right. He wasn’t at fault for either goal, his partner was.
Whoever played as our CB pairing would struggle with what is currently going on in front of them. As good as Cork and Westwood were post Xmas they have been below average the last 4 games. We might need 3 in there with Barnes up front alone.

I agree that Gibson for Mee should have been tried ages ago but what crap to say Tarks and Mee are no good. Only four games ago they should have been cb pairing for England according to some.

Mee has never been good enough for England.

He did a lot right, but without doubt he was equally culpable for their goal along with Tarky and Brady. He wasn’t expecting the silly pass, but he wasn’t under pressure and should still have controlled it better. If he had taken a good touch and cleared it, the game would have finished 1-1 and Cardiff would still have needed more than three points to overtake us. This is the Premier League, these players need to have good first touches under pressure.
