Tonights episode showed Merson in a bad place with his gambling! Fair play to him being open about it and hopefully it will help others in the same situation talk about it.

Absolutely. Posted on another thread. Met him at a charity 5 aside competition which he played in and helped organise. decent guy.

No doubt few will have sympathy and many will want to put the boot in.

Hopefuly he can help others overcome gambling issues...

A shame for the lad, the gambling bug has got a grip on him, what a terrible addiction for anyone to suffer he really needs more professional help, he looked suicidal on last nights episode, even the missus was crying, glad he scored a goal he was chuffed to bits after the game. Good luck Mers, hope he gets the help he desperately needs.

He came across really well in the TV program. Sincerely hope he can recover his life.... He has so much to offer and look forward to.
