Season ticket Early Bird deadline - UPDATE
Season ticket Early Bird deadline - UPDATE
Just a reminder that the deadline is 1st April but for payment on Direct Debit it's 29th March.
If you currently have a 2018/19 free under 10s season ticket in the Jimmy McIlroy Upper or a complimentary personal assistant/companion ticket they cannot be automatically renewed.
If you would like your season ticket to be renewed you need to contact the ticket office to let them know, as the Direct Debit scheme will only auto-renew 'paid seats'.
To do this simply email ticketoffice@burnleyfc.com, with the full name, clarets number, seats details of the free seat, with a statement saying 'I would like my free seat renewing for the 2019/2020 season'
Alternatively pop in to the Turf Moor Ticket Office and do so in person.
Failure to notify us of your wish to renew the ticket will result it in not being renewed for the 2019/20 season.
Burnley FC have been making calls to relevant supporters regarding the above, if you have already been contacted and confirmed you would like to keep your seat, thank you for confirming.

I've renewed after pondering about it, but i do hope the entertainment factor improves next season. I've lost count of the times I've watched the crap on the scoreboard, sadly I've found that more entertaining at times

I get into the football still and love match days, bought mine and nephews season ticket and he’s started going off going in now as he finds it a bit “mehhh”.Barry_Chuckle wrote:I've renewed after pondering about it, but i do hope the entertainment factor improves next season. I was contemplating renewing them or just going on the odd few matches next season but renewed them anyway and he’ll probably go on a few games here and there if the current trend continues.

Barry..........I'm keen to understand why, under the current management regime, the entertainment factor might improve next season ?......Or anytime, for that matter.Barry_Chuckle wrote:I've renewed after pondering about it, but i do hope the entertainment factor improves next season. Not necesarily. If we stay up I will buy them again. But not commiting in case we go down.chipbutty wrote:Good for you, 5 less plastics. I`m sure BFC will thank you for your support over the Premier league years.

And they'll always someone you can pass it onto if you have a spare I am sure.

Win, win. The club get more money, and CC gets to dispense some of the vast amounts of surplus cash he has swashling around.
Re: Season ticket Early Bird deadline
Erm... you could flip that round. If we stay up we will be cagey and cautious. If we go down we have to go for it most weeks. More entertainment if we go down. A win win surely.cricketfieldclarets wrote:Not necesarily. If we stay up I will buy them again. But not commiting in case we go down.

Re: Season ticket Early Bird deadline
I know it's each to his own, but I don't really get this obsession some have with the "entertainment factor" . Personally I ALWAYS find it entertaining whether we play well or not IF we waltz off with the points. As a Burnley fan all I'm interested in is nabbing those points at the end of the day, one way or another. If we win I'm always happy as. If we don't I'm utterly gutted, especially if we haven't played well. To me that's what being a football supporter has always been like and it really isn't like any other form of entertainment whatsoever and can't be put into that category. If a film is rubbish I might turn it off, if a book is boring I stop reading and choose another, if a restaurant serves poor food I go elsewhere next time, but supporting Burnley is never, ever like that. Is a time coming where football becomes so much a part of the "mainstream entertainment industry" that if people don't like the product on offer at one place, they will simply go and watch somewhere else, somewhere where what's being served up is far better? If that's the case, everybody who likes watching footy would be queued up outside the Etihad every Saturday, because you'll for sure be royally entertained there. Well I won't be joining in. I was given my club by my dad and my grandad and at almost 61 and after years of tramping round every division and every part of the country watching them "the brand of football on offer" is pretty much the last thing on my mind. I'm enjoying us playing at the highest level once again and I simply want to see us win.
And I'm not in any way saying everyone has to see it my way or if people have a different perspective on it that they're somehow wrong or whatever. I know it's all personal and I know others (some on here) feel differently and I do respect that.

Re: Season ticket Early Bird deadline - UPDATE

I did nothing - and my direct debit next season for my 'seat' in the CFS will be £17 and a few pence They automatically changed me to a senior concession ticket.

Re: Season ticket Early Bird deadline - UPDATE
No but emailed them straight away to renew my sons though he said he has found this season a bit boring!
Re: Season ticket Early Bird deadline - UPDATE
I got through to the ticket office first thing this morning, I told them I wanted to pay by debit card over the phone to renew my sons season ticket (adult) "sorry you'll have to ring this 0844 number" . I told them I didn't want to do that, I'm through to you now and a card payment over the phone can be done in seconds. " no sorry", okay, if I walk in the ticket office can I pay you by debit card, "yes" was the reply. I rang the 0844 number and had to listen to waffle for 2 minutes before getting through and had the pleasure of being charged an extra £1.60 for paying by debit card plus extra for using the 0844 number.

Those are the rules. We tried to get rid of the 08 number and the current one is better than the old one but not good enough.beddie wrote:I got through to the ticket office first thing this morning, I told them I wanted to pay by debit card over the phone to renew my sons season ticket (adult) "sorry you'll have to ring this 0844 number" . Easiest way would have been to do it online.
