Big big fan, love his style.
Have you seen him singing his Kettering Town song? Absolutely hilarious.
Got his book Classic Scrapes on the Kindle for 99p - well worth picking up. First half of it I had tears streaming down my face, does fade in the latter stages though.

He has been on "Mock the week" a few times his deadpan style is very good and sometimes quite surreal in his humour...
Yes definitely one of the better ones in the current crop

He also hosts a show called Hypothetical on Dave, but I watch that depending on who the 4 'comedians' (guests) are.Bosscat wrote:He has been on "Mock the week" a few times his deadpan style is very good and sometimes quite surreal in his humour...

I enjoyed him on Mock The Week and Taskmaster so gave his Netflix stand up series a watch. Thought it was really funny. His deadpan style is great and the callback humour always takes me by surprise (in a good way).

Re: James Acaster
Started watching him after a few too many beers a month or so ago and didn't really find him funny. This post made me decide to go back and give his Netflix shows another go. Glad I did, one of the best days at work I have had in a while with him on in the background.

No problem!
Anyway, I was meaning to say that Repertoire on Netflix is excellent.
