I tried to watch it and lasted 20 minutes.

The electrician and prison warden were running the game.

I hope they improved afterwards.

Jeff in the right place and took it well.

:twisted: Brady is over the injury physically but mentally I'm not so sure. He hardly shows anything at the moment and today was a continuation of that non form.

ROI are on a downward slope and that showed today.

At least you know what you get from a team managed by Mick McCarthy.

Didn’t watch the game but surely ROI should be giving Gibraltar an absolute pasting? I assume there was umpteen missed chances?

Amazed at the comments Brady is getting in the last couple of weeks.
the amount of comments about us lacking space and lacking creativity, Brady has both and just needs to get over his injury.

Having Hendrick is the same as playing with 10 men.

My mate played against Gibraltar with his semi-pro side and only lost 5-0 - and I was a better player than him. The Irish side are not in good shape.

Not a bad idea :lol: . We'd have to change the way we play tho…. :?

On a serious note, Hendrick is a far better player than I originally thought, and he must be a seriously mentally strong character to have endured at Burnley.

Dyche seems to prefer Johann, in what seems to be Hendricks best position. Hendrick is the modern day Branch, in that he's versatile but not quite `there` in the positions he plays that aren't natural to him. Because of that, certain elements of the crowd are quick to get on his back. To put it sharply, I think he's been screwed over.

We are a better side with him playing in the midfield.

I wouldn't have minded seeing Hendrick get a decent run in the centre of midfield at some stage this season, probably instead of Cork. Obviously not going to happen now with the position we're in but at times we look so weak with Cork and Westwood, almost like 2 little boys in there.

We don't need to rely on opinions.
How many goals has he scored (ever!!);
How many assists has he;
How many tackles won;
How many balls given away;
I'm sure there are people out there who will have the answers.
Let the facts decide and drop all this "out of position" nonsense.

6, for Burnley. No one cares about anyone else

How many assists has he;

3. He contributes a goal or an assist every 10 games.

How many tackles won;

68

How many balls given away;

Hard to quantify. If he makes a simple pass and his team mate ***** up then it counts as a Jeff Hendrick error. FWIW he makes 26 passes per game.

I'm sure there are people out there who will have the answers.

I don't know what this proves.

The same could be asked about Jack Cork however we like Jack, he came on loan years ago and runs about a lot (usually trying to get back into position after falling over).

ROI are a poor side at the moment. HopefullyMcCarthy will improve it but not sure the player pool is there. Gibraltar are part timers and made up of electricians and postmen. 1-0 is quite a poor result. Hendrick and Brady are not offering us that much really.

I don't know how often Hendrick played the No 10 role last season, but weren't we a bit higher up the league then?
