Are there bots or persistent trolls on this board?

We live in binary times it seems, with all that is going on in the world it is natural that we may be having more debates etc than usual.

But looking at what seemingly happens in most threads I strongly suspect that debate on this board is at the mercy of the aforementioned, thoughts?

I'm not really looking for a witch hunt, more wanting to know if people think that this is going on, and what can be done about it...
