Single seats

Post by clitheroeclaret2 » Fri Mar 29, 2019 8:15 pm

Had a quick look online and without counting there up there must be a couple of hundreds lef for tomorrow's big game.t. Virtually all these are single seats dotted about.
Shame as I'm sure they'd be snapped up, for what is a massive game for us, if weren't just individual seats.

Anybody know what "amenity seats" are btw?

I've got one next to my seat. It's a bit unnerving at first, but you get used to it.

Always lots of empty seats in the Bob Lord even when we have a sell out

Would love to know how much those 7 comfy looking premium seats right at the front of the Bob Lord stand cost.

Looks like you can only sit in them is that you may have to leave them a few minutes before the end but it doesn’t look like they enforce that condition

Its ridiculous. I am a season ticket holder x 5 but if we were asked to move 1 seat to the left or right so that a single seat became 2 then I would be more than happy to do this.

Maybe the club should run a promotion of sorts if you do so. Instead of 2 empty seats in JHU apart left empty they should say to a season ticket holder if you move we will give you a £5 voucher for the club shop or something along those lines. They would have 2 paying customers minus a fiver rather than nothing

Needs an extra 3k on the capacity - crazy that the ground has had zero development with all the prem money since 2009 - ten years !

No brainer that right?

This is Burnley.

They see the fiver lost....

Nope, because we don't sell out enough games for starters.

Nor do we have a waiting list for season tickets.

We don't take up the full allocation for every away game either.

If TM was a regular sell out, people demanding season tickets and we were selling all of our away allocations for every single game, then ground expansion would make sense.

Apart from the new pitch, the new floodlights, the new disabled stands, the new corporate areas and the new dressing rooms.

Even against the top 6 clubs we very rarely sell out, so why do we need 3k extra (empty) seats?

So they can then moan the club wasted the money I suppose...

I almost always have one next to me. I've been trying to take my daughter on for the last few games but it has always come up as being sold..yet nobody has sat there for all but the Leicester game. Very annoying.

The thing is, there needs to be at least two single seats on the same row, otherwise there is
nowhere to move to for those that are willing to move to help out and make a difference.

I just thought of that !! :o

Hasn’t pretty much every home game this season been a sell out ?
