It's a strange anomaly but am I correct in thinking that whenever Burnley have been promoted to the Premier League Norwich City have been relegated and vice versa ?

Sadly something I know about all too well living in Suffolk. Superstitious as I am, this doesn’t bode well in my view!

I think in 2009 when we went up Norwich were relegated to the third tier. It is true that we have never played them in the Prem. As we came down to the second tier Norwich came back up to join us then went up to the Prem league in 2011 came down in 2014 as we went up and swopped with us in 2015 and again in 2016

My bad, I got picked up by Accy Clarets on the A17 in Lincolnshire just after an operation on my elbow so notdriving meant I was more into drink than normal

I seem to remember them equalising at the death when looking offside to all but the officials.

If you include Norwich being relegated to League One which they did in 2009 when we were promoted the first time.
