New prediction game
To the nearest 10, how many times will Wood be offside ?
Null and void if, hopefully, he doesn't feature at all.

Re: New prediction game
He will be, it's how he's asked to play like Gray was. Players like that, playing like that, will always get caught offside. As for the hopefully he doesn't appear - words fail me.Funkydrummer wrote:To the nearest 10, how many times will Wood be offside ?

I hope he's benched. Time to give Vydra more than 2 minutes.ClaretTony wrote:He will be, it's how he's asked to play like Gray was. Players like that, playing like that, will always get caught offside. As for the hopefully he doesn't appear - words fail me.
Re: New prediction game
Spot on. Clearly Dyche instructs Wood to play on the last man as he did with Gray. Some people don't appear to understand that.ClaretTony wrote:He will be, it's how he's asked to play like Gray was. Re: New prediction game
Would love him to get an 'offside' winner.
I'm going for 5 times. (6 counting the winner). Nature of the beast with Wood and offside, he's told to be level with the last defenders longest cock hair, it's that tight.

Re: New prediction game
I have no objection to anybody playing on the shoulder but he doesn't. He stands offside and doesn't appear to understand he is offside. that's what ticks me off about him.

And not all his offsides are offside. For example the one where he scored at Watford which was disallowed.ClaretTony wrote:He will be, it's how he's asked to play like Gray was. But that's just part of the problem, he makes it way too easy for the lino just to call offside. Who's gonna argue?

Re: New prediction game
I've not twisted any words, simply quoted exactly what you had written. Unequivocal I'm afraid.ClaretTony wrote:And don't twist my words - open your eyes please.
Also, never start a sentence with "and"

I understand completely, but I'm sure he is also told to stay onside. If he can't manage that, then trytaio wrote:Spot on. Clearly Dyche instructs Wood to play on the last man as he did with Gray. Some people don't appear to understand that.
a different way of playing or play someone else.
Not rocket science really.
To be fair though, the lad did ok in that regard today. Credit where it's due.
