Although very easy game to referee. Wolves didn't need to force the issue and neither did we once infront.
Will be the best referee in the league once Atkinson retires.

Been saying this for a while, but Kavanagh is definitely one to watch out for over the next couple of years. He has the making of being an outstanding referee. Again today, I thought he was excellent.

Couldn't help notice that some of their players spent a lot of time on their arse whilst we stayed on our feet !
Full marks for the ref for not falling for that.

Thankfully he didn’t fall for their falling over too often and generally had a decent game.

I like the guy but thought he had one of his poorer days today. I think the victory might have ramped his marks up a couple across the board.

Didn't fall for Ashley's histrionics, but didn't fall for theirs either.
All in all, one of the better refereeing performances today

Totally agree with Ralph. Barnes wasn't able to get his soft free kicks, but likewise Kavanagh spotted some of their daft theatricals too and waved pay on and I like that as so many referees take the easy option and give the free kick.

He simply made a few bad decisions today. There were two throw ins that he got wrong (one for each side), including one inexplicable easy one in front of the disabled area. His treatment of Barnes was very harsh, we all know Barnes, he fouls his man often but a few times a game he is fouled himself. The ref waited until the second half to give him a second foul after the first early goal one. Then there were the soft fouls Wolves got, especially the one on the keeper who appeared to be coming for a ball he had no chance of reaching.
I don’t see how his performance today can be almost perfect which is how most people seem to have rated him.

Felt he had lost control of the game quite early. How McNeils challenge was deemed as the first yellow card has amazing.
