Absolutely. But as my post suggests - imo - this is the best result of the season. This is the result with not many games to go that gives me the most confidence, we can stay up. I do fear Chelsea will let us down - they are the sort of side to do just that, but here's hoping that's not the case.

I will enjoy the 3 points against Cardiff more.
But still getting drunk tonight on the red wine on this result.
Oh and thanks to the Dutch Clarets for buying us some beer after the game.

Cardiff will be coming to Turf Moor needing to win. That is exactly what we want.

I ve just been on the phone Frank and said exactly the same about Chelsea
It will be just like them not to turn up
But lets just think of us its hard to do that sometimes being a Clatet as we have seen it all before maybe it cos we had a long long time in the doldrums
But lets bask in this win we've stopped the rot
And could quite easy go on a nother mimi run to secure our status
And if that happens and we get something at Bournemouth beat Cardiff then it could be the tesult that sends them down with 4 games to spare happy days

Chelsea coming off the back of a poor result at Everton but they should have been 4 up at half-time. Chelsea will turn up

Evening Steve, hope you're well. I will keep the faith, I just like to make myself not get too excited - it grounds me as I don't like to just assume things. I do hope Chelsea turn up, but I have to say, I do have my doubts.

What a win though Steve! Chuffed to bits.

The stream I was watching, suddenly swapped games Bardsleyhad the ball then all of a sudden he turned into Wilf Saha and I was arching Palace v Huddersfield.....fantastic result though back on track,be nice to go to Bournemouth and win,and then play Cardiff with not a much pressure on...I think we will be fine now :D

Let's see how Chelsea do tomorrow, but if they do win - it's the time to go to Bournemouth and attack. Why not, eh! Let's go and have a real go at them.

Second home game I've missed, have been rough all week and didn't have the energy or confidence in not following through to go today. Gutted I couldn't make it. We have won both games so perhaps I should stay away.

Definitely enjoy the result and hopefully a quiet night on UTC.

Cardiff will have played both their games in hand (home to Chelsea and away to Man City) before we play Bournemouth. It could all look a lot more healthy by then (or we could be in the bottom three but I very much doubt it).
