Aye, the definition of one of our own!
If he's ours since puberty, he's one of our own!
This business of signing 6,7,8 year old kids is ludicrous. 14 is plenty early enough.

Great player though!
You must be easily embarrassed.

I’ll be honest, i wanted him off after 60 mins, didn’t think he offered much but I suppose he’s always got that in the locker, and not one other player on the pitch does

He looked knackered, no criticism hes learning, and I thought he should have been off before the goal. Hes well worth his place, and brings something to the team that none of his more experienced team mates especially the wingers do.
There is always room for improvement and his stamina is one of them, but if he can continue to improve it will be very difficult to fight off the interest.
For now he needs a big pat on the back and freedom to play his 'game'.

I was also calling for him to be taken off as he looked tired and in all honesty looked a liability defensively. A number of times in the second half he switched off and let his man run off him. Wolves relentlessly targeted this but Taylor stood strong.
His contribution to both goals was fantastic though and he’s got game changing moments in his locker. When he develops into more of an athlete and learns the defensive side to the game he will be some player.

I thought the ‘When Johnny Comes Marching Home’ song was a good one suggested online. Man Utd used to sing it for John O’Shea, so it’s tried and tested. Our fans have no vision.

He's got tight control and electric pace over the first few strides which means defenders back off him when he is facing them. You don't need to go past players to make room for a shot. His left foot is like a cannon. He also appears to be fearless and has great composure.
What we don't know yet is if he can deliver consistently.
What we do know is that the team would be in real trouble without his contribution since Boxing Day.

He’s got the full back in his pocket,
He’ll beat him down the left and down the right,
He’ll cross in to Woody,
Or over to Barnesy,
Cos Dwight McNeil is dynamite
And with his tricks, he’s a mystery,
And he’s playing on the wing for Bur-ner-Lee,
He’s the one who’s gonna make it alright,
Dwight McNeil is chuffing dynamite....
A-la la la....
(Only Fools and Horses tune)

Did Liverpool fans consider Raheem Sterling as one of their own? He joined them from QPR at 14. Just a thought.

I suppose the question is whether we consider to have bee a kid that we developed. Do you consider 14 years old an adult? Do you consider 5 years of development enough to suggest Burnley developed him to become a professional footballer rather than United, who let him go as they didn’t feel like he’d make it?

How do you know when he started puberty?
