Garth Crooks
Those of us who couldn't make the game yesterday may have heard Garth Crooks say on final score, and I quote
"Don't let this Burnley win fool you, they are still deep in the relegation picture"
What a to**er, he could have given us some credit for the marvellous win.

He may very well be right...a couple of unlikely wins for Cardiff etc etc but there's something about him that makes me want to throttle him. He speaks as if everything he says is an absolute fact not just his opinion.

The only thing wrong with what Garth Crooks is saying that we are not the only ones in trouble.
Southampton & Brighton are in trouble as well.

Re: Garth Crooks
Cannot stand that gobby lump Crooks.
Martin Keown was very complimentary last night ( MOTD)
- in particular talking about our organisation and defensive shape and ability to block and put bodies where they will get hurt.
Top comments re McNeil, and Shearer agreed with him.

Of course we're in a relegation battle. But generally Crooks is a truly awful pundit. One of the worst or the worse pundit around. Talks absolute shite.

However pick up 6 points from the next 2 games and he can shove his opinions where the sun dont shine
Re: Garth Crooks
We are still in trouble. Crooks however is a dreadful pundit. File under Sutton, Savage and Merson.

He did - just that was not part of the edit in the OP
best bit yesterday - Crooks going on about the pressure that comes when you are a united player (they were playing poorly but winning) then Dion Dublin says yes only world class players get to wear that with a look that said "and you didn't" followed by laugh (as he did)

Gart Crooks - the pundit who is so aware that, back in 2012, he wa pushing WBA’s James Morrison for an England place. One slight problem - Morrison had played 23 times for Scotland...

So because i think Garth Crooks is a knob I'm a racist. I think Chris Sutton is a knob, what does that make me (apart from correct)? Looks like I could add another name to my list.cricketfieldclarets wrote:Racism still accepted on here. Clear why most dont like him. Just say it.

Re: Garth Crooks
The worst of a bad bunch on TV. I'd take a week of wall-to-wall Sutton, Savage and Owen over ten minutes of Crooks.
