Those of us who couldn't make the game yesterday may have heard Garth Crooks say on final score, and I quote

"Don't let this Burnley win fool you, they are still deep in the relegation picture"

What a to**er, he could have given us some credit for the marvellous win.

He may very well be right...a couple of unlikely wins for Cardiff etc etc but there's something about him that makes me want to throttle him. He speaks as if everything he says is an absolute fact not just his opinion.

Hes not wrong. Gets a lot of stick does Crooks. But hes being honest and realistic here.

Martin Keown was very complimentary last night ( MOTD)
- in particular talking about our organisation and defensive shape and ability to block and put bodies where they will get hurt.
Top comments re McNeil, and Shearer agreed with him.

Of course we're in a relegation battle. But generally Crooks is a truly awful pundit. One of the worst or the worse pundit around. Talks absolute shite.

best bit yesterday - Crooks going on about the pressure that comes when you are a united player (they were playing poorly but winning) then Dion Dublin says yes only world class players get to wear that with a look that said "and you didn't" followed by laugh (as he did)
