Assuming they get beat mid week they will be a minimum 5 points behind when they come to the turf.

Warnock just stood in centre circle giving ref a death stare! hahaha, can't blame him for being annoyed.

Not been on the board so not seen the thread although I've watched the match.

Absolutely delighted with the result but I hope Warnock has a massive rant. It's a disgrace how the big clubs get all the bad decisions in their favour. What a joke that equaliser was.

Avoid defeat against them and that should be enough.

Never offside the camera made it look like that because the signal is disturbed coming from Wales to England. Got a mate there who said the actual first goal was from outside the area.

It wouldn't surprise me if that's killed Cardiff's season there and then.

So close to a great result, only to lose, it will be incredibly hard for them to pick themselves up after that result, especially with Man City away being their next match.

If we can make it 6 (essentially seven with the goal difference) then it puts so much pressure on them to beat us.

And if we beat Bournemouth and get eight points in front even a win for them makes it tough to survive.

9 goals could still vanish if they were to beat us and make the rest of the points up.

Clearly onside if your a top six side

Colin ranting and raving but forgets the offside goal scored by Bamba against Brighton in November which gave them all three points. Swings and roundabouts until VAR puts everyone out of their misery and prevents managers from having heart attacks ----not!!

He should have started. They have Brighton at home next which I reckon will be easier than away at Cardiff.

Warnock did the right thing at the end of the match, just staring at the officials: that sends the best message

Couldn’t agree more. In many ways this result may be even better than Cardiff getting spanked. Hard to pick yourselves up from that for City away.

But as for those decisions. Utterly disgraceful. I feel bad that we’ve benefited because we all know how it feels.

Maybe Cardiff will be able to lodge an appeal against the result to the Welsh FA and get the result overturned.
To be fair to Warnock, I'm loving his reaction on the pitch to the officials.

Oh look, another top six club gets the benefit of inept/corrupt officiating. The PL brand must be protected.

I know today benefits us massively, but good God how many f@ck ups can Pawson and his officiating team get away with before POGMOL decided enough is enough. They are just a catastrophically bad "team".

I just hope we dont get Pawson again this season because knowing him he will try to level the playing field!

Great day to be a Claret. Cardiff are away to City next, they won't get anything there.

It's in our hands now, a point at Bournemouth, beat Cardiff at home, it's done and dusted

We'd be steaming!

However, it puts us back in with a more than decent chance
of staying up. One more win should do it and if it was against Cardiff
than almost for sure.

Would love it to be earlier and a win against Bournemouth
would make the game against Cardiff only a must not lose rather than a must win.
It has been us in the past and thats why its so satisfying when it happens to others and benefits us.

This!

One poor decision doesn't decide a 38 game league campaign at all.
They will have had decisions go there way that influenced results in their favour as well.

I don't think their equaliser has anything to do with corruption in the game. More down to utter incompetence.

Anyway, it's done us a massive favour. Also it's Colin. My dislike of him has nothing to do with the spat with Stan. It's more to do with him being such an odious creature.

They might go to the Welsh FA and get the result overturned as a 2-1 win
