The one thing I will say is that pro's shouldn't put themselves in the situations they do. Way too much to risk. And its almost impossible to have a normal night out as a pro footballer. Especially in smaller towns.

How much more stick is Pickford going to get on this site out of jealousy? It seems some are trying to find every piece of sh!te they can on him to somehow discredit him. The lad does little or nothing wrong for England, let's stop trying to somehow force the issue for Tom. The age difference means that unless Pickford suddenly has a multi-game meltdown for England his place is safe, and rightly so. Tom is a great goalkeeper, we all know this, but Southgate has his plans set firmly on the future and unfortunately a guy at 30-odd is not going to be number one unless the aforesaid meltdown occurs. Tom will play the odd game, maybe, but can you get the dreams of 'Englands number one' out of your heads, it's not going to happen.

Pickford is Englands number one at the moment and deserves to be there BUT, this will not do his reputation any good at all, i should think if anything does come of this then Southgate will punish him and so too Everton, i have always thought of him as a cocky little b.....d and hope he gets the punishment he deserves, he will be Englands keeper for the foreseeable future unless he picks up an injury, then maybe Tom will get his chance to show his class, but for now we will see Tom sat on the bench, i really hope he gets a chance for a few caps though.
