You have a point, I want to understand it. So I to dig your reasoning out. I try not to be condescending or say I’m right you are wrong, I have no reason to doubt your beliefs.

In fact despite rarely agreeing with you politics I enjoy debating with you as you rarely resort to childish responses and like I say the day I think I’m beyond rational debate or changing my position is the day I become a hermit.

I’ve been around the forces enough to know a lot are not the brightest buttons, there will have been little of any thought to the Corbyn picture, of that I’m fairly certain... they are not known for deep thought.

To be clear i'm not saying courts martial should happen or even RoPs. Just better professionalism training because it shouldn't happen. My biggest concern is the lack of judgement exercised by people whose job it is to kill people with justification. If they don't have the sense of judgement to know not to shoot at pictures of their own country's politicians then how can i trust that they have the required sense of judgement when it comes to combat situations?

Judgement is not high on the curriculum in the army. They are taught to run point and shoot however they are told to, trained not to think about why they are doing it. It is how all armies operate.
