I think you underestimate the hatred that soldiers have for Mr Corbyn, Lancaster.
I was quite shocked at how bad friends fell out on social media before the last general election. Most around here wanted the Torys out but soldiers from working class backgrounds spared nothing in abuse for the traitor (in their eyes).
The fall out between the armed forces and Corbyn if he ever got elected would put Brexit to near nothing status.

Ha so let’s get this right.
You changed users on here from Sidney1st to GodisADeeJay.
You had a twitter account in the name of Sidney1st. Your “mate” had a twitter account named GodisADeeJay which he hadn’t used for years.
As soon as Sidney1st is retired on here your mates twitter account fires up but only talks to Sidney1st.
You get rumbled on here that you’ve changed username and then both you and “your mate” then decide to each close their twitter account.
Some coincidence that.
I’d like to say I should have been a detective but it was pointed out by someone else on here and was so obvious. I’m amazed you continue to deny it.

Whinging about it on social media is perfectly fine*, but they can't do that in public. Re: British paratroopers using Corbyn pic as target practice
Having served in the RAF for 26 years until 3 years ago, I can honestly say I’m not a fan of politicians. The Tories have annihilated the RAF since 2010 with massive cuts to personnel, equipment and pensions. The retention in Engineering trades is abysmal. I can also understand the dislike of Corbyn. The sooner he goes, the better.
The biggest crime those paras committed was putting it on video and getting caught. Day one basics is that.

Looks like some kind of soft plastic/wax? mini pellets they’re using .Anyone would think they’re smashing semi automatic clips into it . Imagine the joy and hilarity from the Guardian etc if the target had been say Farage or JRM. It’s an absolute non story but funny nonetheless at the seething rage that the left exude for such nonsense

Re: British paratroopers using Corbyn pic as target practice
Got a very good mate who was in the Paras..... It seems like a prerequisite to being accepted is to just be wired up completely differently to anybody else on the planet.
Some of the stories he’s told about things they’d do in their “down time” would make anybody question their sanity......... when push comes to shove though, these are the lads who would jump in front of a bullet for Corbyn if ordered to, even if they didn’t like him. Whilst the rest of the outrage brigade would probably complain about them leaving blood on Corbyns tie. It’s the price you have to pay for keeping morale between these lads who are absolutely nuts and run on different brain waves to the rest of us who see the stuff they do as shocking.

and to think they allow these servicemen to vote as well which means they will have an opinion on the people they are voting for......which reminds me when I asked my Corporal back in the 70's when I first got to 18 and the vote, who should I vote for he said well this lot are knocking 50p a week off our pay and that lot want to give us a pay rise, and the others never get in, your choice lad.

I'd be pretty horrified if our armed forces did this using pictures of any politician.
I don't expect much perception of the reality of this scenario from our brainwashed right wingers on here though...the implications are miles beyond them..
.I don't suppose Rowls has been on this thread yet...but as our only intelligent right wing contributor I'd love to see him say something sensible.

You’d quickly realise this sort of thing is probably the least of your worries of their behaviour/conduct. It really does seem like they’ll just do something without a care of consequences which is why they do the job they do. Was on a stag do with my mate who served and a lad we didn’t know threw up on the floor next to him. He looked around and laughed... then started doing press ups whilst licking up this random lads sick every time he went down. For no reason. Got up and just carried on his conversation - that was one of the tamer things he did on the trip too ....
There is a reason that so few make it to that level of the military, it’s not because they aren’t fit enough etc ... it’s because they can’t mentally cope with the absolute headfu(k (in our opinion) mentality between those that do make it. We look at these things rationally and from a “normal” viewpoint whereas they don’t see anything past that 30 seconds, then just move on and carry on their day/job which is to protect and serve who they are ordered to.

But again, I'm cutting them loads of slack cos its clearly down time in Afghanistan and I firmly believe 100% that its not anything other than a really bad idea of a joke, and I'd hate to think any of them got disciplined for it. But they have to be reminded that its not acceptable behaviour.

Quite interesting to read that people are genuinely horrified by this. There’s worse things happening in the world than a bunch of paras shooting paint at a picture of a politician who believe soldiers should be jailed for following orders.

Just because someone disagrees with you, it doesn't make them right wing dear.
You obviously don't have much of an idea about politics either, not surprising at your age.

FWIW I think the paras been very silly and need a slap on the wrist, and a reminder they're supposed to be apolitical, no more.
