Jimenez
Wolves have turned his loan into a permanent signing - 32 million ! That's probably more than Dyche's budget will be in it's entirety this summer

Re: Jimenez
Given that his budget proved to be in excess of £80 million in 2017/18, I'd suggest not.Vegas Claret wrote:Wolves have turned his loan into a permanent signing - 32 million ! That's probably more than Dyche's budget will be in it's entirety this summer

Re: Jimenez
The budget will go down every year as the wage bill goes higher.

He migt get em in europe yet
Re: Jimenez
But does the £32 million include his wages? I think CT included wages in the budget number of over £80 million for us, (which is fair as it is a cost for us that comes from total income). Agents fees and income can add a huge amount to any transfer figure.

Re: Jimenez
I agree Tony but wondered if the £32million quoted for Jimenez included his wages etc or just the purchasing price?

Re: Jimenez

Re: Jimenez
Of course it does, transfer fees and wages are both part of the playing budgetVegas Claret wrote:which the Jimenez 32 million doesn't - that's the transfer fee

they've given Benfica 32 million for Jimenez - that 32 million does not include his wages.ClaretTony wrote:Of course it does, transfer fees and wages are both part of the playing budget

Re: Jimenez
No it doesn't, but the £32 million is still out of the playing budget.Vegas Claret wrote:they've given Benfica 32 million for Jimenez - that 32 million does not include his wages.

Re: Jimenez
There something in the state of Wolverhampton that stinks.
They vastly overspend in the Championship, on lots of Portugese players, all good enough for the prem, all on cheap deals, all under the same agent. Today's agents feed shows Wolves is quite low considering. The maths just dont make sense to be genuine. It would be nice to see some forensic accountants going over their books for the last 3 years.

Re: Jimenez
They were cleared of breaking any rules but probably because nobody had thought of an agent being in bed with a club so hadn't bothered to make any!
Re: Jimenez
It's not like he's even on the PGA Tour any more, either!
Astonishing!
