Pope
Re: Pope
Might suit Hart to just see out the final year of his contract and become a free agent next summer. Would give him much more freedom to choose his next, and potentially last move of his career.

Re: Pope
no way will Hart be sitting on our bench next season. He doesn't need the money, he wants to play and rightly so. He didn't do too much wrong for us, I wish him well wherever he goesjrgbfc wrote:Might suit Hart to just see out the final year of his contract and become a free agent next summer. If Degea goes to Madrid or PSG then it becomes a merry-go-round of supply and demand.
We'll be in a very strong position and would be surprised if Pope leaves for a pittance.

Super..smashing..champion.
But I'm not sure the club is being run purely for Joe Harts benefit.
Re: Pope
Don't think you understand how transfers work mate. If Hart doesn't fancy any of the offers he gets this summer he's perfectly entitled to sit out the final year of his contract with us and there's nothing we can do about it.fatboy47 wrote:Super..smashing..champion.

After Saturdays game it wouldn't surprise me if Bournemouth offered a tempting offer for Pope in the transfer window

Re: Pope
People who think we would command £30m for 'young' (28 years old) keeper with less than a season prem experience are in cloud cuckoo land!
