They should set up a gofundit account. They’d raise enough to allow them to do it again.
BTW. Was the game replayed or was it a 3-0 forfeit?

That just shows how important the FA think racist abuse is.
Whilst they take this attitude it will always continue.

Padiham just aren't as newsworthy as some, where the highlights have recently been falling on.
Poor response from the FA.

Why should a team just suck it up when one of their mates has been racially abused. They showed great camaraderie. Hats off to everyone of them!

This story was covered on bbc nw tonight. Wythenshaw Town abandoned a match because the lino racially abused one of their players and he’s kept his job.

Re: Padiham FC Fined
There is a similar story down here with Wythenshawe Town.
Linesman uses racist language towards a black player.
Team walks off, the referee and FA are informed.
This happened in January, the Linesman has been allowed to carry on officiating ever since.
What is going on with the FA ?

Yes it’s disgraceful behaviour by the North West Counties league but the way you posted was in an ignorant “the workd’s gone PC mad” type way.

Think he meant how in today’s society, to still see that behaviour on such a regular basis is disgusting. Which I agree on. We shouldn’t have to open a paper and see this sort of stuff pretty much every day ...... but we do because there are too many cockwombles about who hold these views.TVC15 wrote:Ok - cheers for that.

And I agree on this of course - just the way he posted it was that he is sick of reading about any “ism” which as said reads more like he thinks the world has gone PC mad than being sick that these things still go on.bfccrazy wrote:Think he meant how in today’s society, to still see that behaviour on such a regular basis is disgusting. For all the good work Raheem Sterling has done regarding rascism, for me, he has been a bit silly saying he is proud to be black. I’ve never before heard anybody say they were proud to have a colour of skin and it just feels wrong. We are all humans.
This point is also relevant for gay pride. They parade to be equal and then shout out that they are proud of being considered, in their eyes, less than equal.

Sterling is a "bit silly saying he is proud to be black"......you have never hear anyone saying they are proud to be black ?
Wow ! Do you really not understand why he and millions of other black people have said this ?
As for your comment on gay pride it makes zero sense...why on earth do you think they are shouting out that they are proud of being considered less than equal ?....are you the only person in the world who does not think that they are proclaiming their pride at being equal ?!!!

Well I’ve taken a kicking over that but I still think my point is correct. The colour of your birth is nothing to be proud of. Be proud of being a good human but not a trait of your being that you had no choice over.

Re: Padiham FC Fined
Do you not get that he was a black kid growing up in an impoverished area of London where little money goes into educating these kids. His mum knowing this will have done what any good parent would do and explain to him that just because of his surroundings and the environment that they were in didnt mean he had to take the same root as the other black kids. Teaching him that he was a proud black man will have been done in a positive manner to try to help him believe that he didnt need to go down the same route as others around him. Them talks may well have given him the drive required to succeedTricky Trevor wrote:Well I’ve taken a kicking over that but I still think my point is correct.
