RATE THE REF - Table Update - Mike Dean still at the top and Kavanagh one to watch!

Post by jdrobbo » Tue Apr 09, 2019 11:35 am

Good morning everyone,

Here is the latest Rate The Ref league table update. It's not too long since the last update, so not much to report. Martin Atkinson had yet another good game down at Bournemouth on Saturday. In the game v Tottenham, Mike Dean was back to his best, with another outstanding refereeing display. His use of the advantage was excellent. Michael Oliver on the other hand, didn't meet his usualy high standards in Burnley's defeat to Leicester City. His overall score decreased ever so slightly this time around

Finally, just my own observation...Chris Kavanagh (referee v Wolves) has now done a few Burnley games. He reffed the game with Huddersfield, the 3-1 away win at Brentford and was the man in-charge oon the day that the Burnley game with Hannover had to be adandoned. I genuinely believe this guy wil go to the very top. He seems to have an excellent understanding of the game and seems to see it 'like a player' . He plays a good advantage and tries to keep the game flowing. He's defintely one to watch!

Thanks, as always, to all those who contribute to the feature...
