Should be a total sell out of home tickets. Biggest game at Turf Moor for some time.

If we don't sell out for this huge match, there is no hope!

With a crowd like that, even the Twixes will sell out. Both of them!

Get in now, or it will be full of Cardiff fans, getting behind their team!

This is the type of match for which we need a bigger Bob Lord stand. It would lead to a bigger crowd and a better atmosphere. And these are the type of games that if we win, then new fans get hooked and maybe come back again.

Pretty sure City used to have a scaffold / temporary stand they put up in the corner for big games when they were at Maine Road similar to the type of thing Lancs CC (and possibly other CC's use?

Would this not be a (cheap) option that the club could utilise to increase capacity for bigger games? There must be a way to be able to put a structure in place that maybe sits above the BL stand if PL rules allow?

The roof would block the view of any scaffold structure that could be put up behind the Bob Lord. You would not be able to build high enough to see the pitch. Fixing/tieing the structure for safety would be impossible to be within guidelines.
There's not enough room between the corner stands to put one up big enough to make it worthwhile.

The City one was there permanently. I sat in it for our 2-2 draw in 1998.

Think that was City's favourite stand that day, they seemed desperate to join us in there that day so much so the wanted to kick their way in near the end of the match.

Behind both posts of the goal and behind the disabled section.

You need to be able to see both goals on the pitch.

Wolves have one too, but it's to the right of the camera if viewing on TV, so hardly seen.

Cardiff have sold out (according to their website). We need to follow suit and then create as intimidating atmosphere as possible. To quote Barry Kilby we need to make Turf Moor a Fortress ( at least on Saturday). Hope SD gets his tactics right. Cardiff will be without 2 of their best players in Bamba and Paterson who are both out for the season. UP THE CLARETS

They have sold out and as a result of their subsidised travel they are bringing 29 coaches.

Was in the north stand and they were keening on coming in their too, I don't think they were too fussy over which stand! Brought back a few memories has that post, not good ones!

Only two left now, unless they release a couple of hundred more later today, like they usually do. Let’s hope it really is a sell-out.

Sat there on boxing Day (right behind the disabled section), ******* horrendous view. I spend the full 90 mins not being able to see much more than a back of a head. didn't state restricted view on the ticket either. Why can't the club lower the disabled section slightly is beyond me. Anyway 3 points tomorrow UTC.

I’ve seen away crowds given as 2,470, but the usual is 2,458. Some clubs get slightly less of an extra barrier of seats is required, but I assume 2,470 is what’s in there.
