Brizzle 1 up on WBA in first minute. Baggies passing it around at the back, cough it up, goal.

Hmmmmm.... VAR pen for Citeh.
Nobody appealing... Ref didn't bother.
Glad it's been missed.
Looked accidental to me.

I know what you mean. I don’t like it how the video ref says “hang on, best check that”. I think it should just be the main ref deciding “I want to check it”.martin_p wrote:VAR is going to ruin football.

Flicking between the games on the red button makes you realise just how desperate football is in the main outside the Prem. Don't want to go back there.

Re: Tonights footie
Preston v Leeds reminds me of the utter tosh we had to suffer for so many years. Tony Gale was commentating at Bournemouth on Saturday the difference in quality between the two games is staggering. To think we actually have fans who claim to prefer the Championship!

I've switched to PNE v Leeds now.
Should have stuck with Sky's choice of Bristol v WBA.
Looks like we've both made the wrong choice.
( I'd have gone for Liverpool if any CL game, Spurs v City was always going to have a cagey premier league game feel about it, with neither wanting to really go for it )
Re: Tonights footie
Very flat atmosphere too, to say there's nearly 6k Leeds fans there, it's been a drab game so far.claretbob wrote:Preston v Leeds reminds me of the utter tosh we had to suffer for so many years. Looking at the Championship table, North End still have a vague chance of the playoffs with a win tonight!

Sissoko or Wanyama are just the style of player we need. Big, strong, athletic and, as a bonus, they can play.

Don’t like Kane. A sly player always playing for the foul. Nasty challenge on Delph, got what he deserved

Don't think it's gonna be enough for Spurs.
Probably get stuffed second leg, particularly if Kane's out.
