Isis children
Obviously Can't pick your parents.... But what a terrible "to put it mildly"situation those babies and Children find themselves in through no fault of their own...Horrendous Situation.
Re: Isis children
Indeed it is. Yet their Mothers now seek help from the people they were quite happy to see perish.

Re: Isis children
Seventy thousand crammed into a camp apparently designed for one tenth of that number according to the BBC tonight.
The British government were extremely clear at the time. "Don't go to Syria" was the message.
It's an Arab problem. But we do need to track the parents. It's not in the national interest to have these hateful characters back over here.

Re: Isis children
Help them and their mothers to stay and help rebuild Syria.
Clearly that was the aim when the women left our country to join the Muslim Utopia.Nows thier chance to give something back to a country they wanted to destroy.
Coming back should never be allowed.

Gotta love how little empathy some people have for innocent children when the kid's parents are people we don't like.

Re: Isis children
It's a tough one.
They've been raised to hate the west etc by parents who have this agenda against us.
If they're born in European countries and are repatriated then there's a high risk that they grow up still hating the west and wanting to avenge their parents etc.
They're also at a higher risk of being brainwashed further as they're growing up.
However leaving them abandoned in places like Syria is also likely to lead to them hating the west even more as they grow older.
Rock and a hard place situation.

Sympathy yes but cannot have empathy as I had such a fantastic childhood. Empathy a much overused and ill understood word.

I don't think we are allowed to mention those, because to even suggest they were adults is basically racist, I think we were called.groove wrote:Are they like Calais children, with beards and stuff?
That's despite pretty much half of them turning out to be actual adults, shockingly

Re: Isis children
Let them rot in Syria with there parents. They have more than likely been radicalised to hate the west and should not be given the opportunities to carry out atrocities on our shores.
Even if they have not been radicalised we cannot afford to take the risk, we have to protect our own

Beat me to it, I was expecting Bob Geldof and Nicola Sturgeon to offer their spare room again, which are still empty. Obviously the 'kids' from Calais turned down the offer, as it wouldn't have been an empty gesture.......TheFamilyCat wrote:They’ll be fine, Lily Allen will adopt them all.

Re: Isis children
That makes sense.
Re: Isis children
I do have sympathy for them but it isn't our problem. We have enough ill and poor treated children living in our own country who need help before we even consider helping children in other countries. Charity begins at home and we should be focussing our efforts looking after our own.

This is opposed to what we're supposed to stand for. This is an argument in favour of penalising children for what they MIGHT believe. Remember that the next time you think about complaining about thought crimes, or anti-free speech crimes.

Surely “our own” could just as easily, if not more so, be interpreted as those living in Great Britain, whatever colour they may be.Imploding Turtle wrote:"we have to protect our own"

It's Top Claret. From someone less obviously racist i might give them the benefit of the doubt, but with Top Claret there is no doubt.

Do you guys remember when we banned the children of IRA terrorists from entering the country? Or of Irish people who hated us? Do you remember that? No, me neither. I wonder what's different.

If only you could mention the 'r' word just enough that it loses all of its meaning.

Re: Isis children
This is how racists get by. They say overtly racist things. A non-racist calls them a racist for believing in racist things. And then idiots come out with "the word 'racist' is losing it's meaning".Bin Ont Turf wrote:If only you could mention the 'r' word just enough that it loses all of its meaning.

If I was asked to name one person on here that I can't believe isn't banned for his overtly racist posts it's be Top Claret. He's literally the last person you want to be defending with this argument about how "racist" is over-used since he's the most appropriate example of a racist on this board.
But you know all that.

I know you're all up for letting anyone in, or back, even if they hate us and want to blow us up, you've always made that perfectly clear.
Anyone who objects is racist in your eyes.
I didn't agree with the way the IRA were let off with their crimes and despite people saying it was the only way for peace, the fact there are factions still trying to blow us up shows it wasn't the right choice.

Have we banned British citizens from entering the UK now? If so that's disgraceful, and it probably contravenes several Geniva conventionsImploding Turtle wrote:So are British citizens.

I don't frequent this board as much as I used to so I'm unaware of these posts, they may well be racist; however, and relevant to BoT's point, given that you call me a racist for (and I still, despite going over it numerous times don't fully understand this) not agreeing with the NFL protests and demonising of cops by BLM. I am indeed also a racist for thinking in this way apparently, so its hard to take your accusations with any degree of weight.Imploding Turtle wrote:This is how racists get by. You keep trying to frame my accusation in that way when i've repeatedly made it clear to you that the reason i call you racist is because you criticised black people for doing something while not criticising white people for doing the same thing. (protesting)
I think this is maybe the 3rd or 4th times i've had to point this out to you. I expect i'll need to again, so next time i'll just link you to this post.
