Pubs near Burnley
A few of us are coming up by train tomorrow.
London - leeds and off at Halifax.
Are there any local towns outside Burnley that are worth a few pre match pints? Be nice to venture somewhere different than Burnley?

You could get off at Tod and go into the Spoons next to the train station.

Tod has several good pub options, not just the Spoons (The White Hart). The Queen's Head and The Polished Knob are good and there are others. Hebden Bridge has plenty and is only a short train ride too.

If you’re getting off at Halifax, the Three Pigeons is only ten minutes walk away from the station. That’s well worth a visit.
