Ball retention is top top class. The perfect player for when the pressure’s on, really relieves the strain on the back 4 with his decision making and ability. Love him.

Wonderful player to watch. Great ball control under pressure unlike others and not afraid to take players on. Very positive player. Think he can become even better with us. Looking forward to seeing him for a full season next season.

He looks slight of frame but gets his body between the ball and his marker and they can’t knock him off it.

Deceptive pace. Great ball control. Mature decision making. Best crosser of a ball I have seen for a long long time. Just makes things happen and has played a huge part in our survival (assuming we do). If he was playing for a top 6 team he would already be a 50 million player like Hudson Odoi

One of his greatest attributes and what I cant think any other Burnley player in our Premier League tenure has had is the ability to have more than a second on the ball before being challenged. His ability to find little pockets of space and put his foot on the ball and have the time to look up and decide what he is going to do has not only enabled us to control our attacks a lot better but for me has helped Taylor recieve the space he needs to show what a good player he is also. Not many better left sides in the league for me

To be fair to Gunnarsson, he actually applauded Dwight when he twisted and turned past him towards the end of the second half.

I was a big Frank Casper fan. Saw all his playing career at Burnley. But not really sure I'd liken Dwight to him, playing wise.
I'm sure Dwight would like to be viewed as the individual he is, but from anyone from the past, I'd really liken him to Chris Waddle in his prime, just in a similar way he carries the ball.

He looks frail to be honest but he's certainly far from easy to knock him off the ball and, what's more, he's not diving around all the time; that's not surprising with SD though.

He doesn't look quick but he suddenly stepped up a gear in the 90th minute. He maximises his assets.If the lad stays sensible he can go far. With our manager and the character of our players any kid who started giving it large would very quickly get a cuff round the ear.

Looks a little like Jimmy Adamson as well to me, as someone said last week.

Sean is a very lucky boy. It was only due to injuries that forced him to try McNeil. The lad has been a breath of fresh air. He takes players on, creates space + gets great crosses in. Something the likes of Hendrick, Lennon, etc playing out wide consistently failed. McNeil will move for big money in due course. Without him I fear we would have been relegated. A great player.

He does what clubs pay huge money for. Scores and creates goals and he is 19 !!!!

I can see similarities in the way Dwight breezes past opponents

According to the BBC most goals/assists for a PL teenager this season - level with Sessegnon at Fulham

His key attribute is he makes us unpredictable - graft that onto the hard work/pressing/shape/organisation that are/should be a given with any Dyche team and that makes us very difficult opponents.

For those questioning his stamina that comes with maturity/physical development - it was never intended that he'd be an ever-present for 6 months. Given a proper pre-season he'll be at the required level.

The most exciting young player I've ever seen at Burnley. Great feet, excellent crosser, outstanding touch, willing to engage the full-back, and a danger wherever he picks the ball up on the field. So much talent.

The same sort of scenario that pushed Mee to centre back and we then went on a 23 game unbeaten run.

But it's not as simple as saying he's lucky. He's been paid back luck by sticking with players and considering morale. He deserves that sort of break by not just dropping players willy-nilly.

The impressive thing with Dwight is he delivers an end product more often than not,either he'll get a shot off,or set up a chance,his composure is key he doesn't panic when in a good position,the Goal against Wolves showed this he was happy to dummy the defender and then shoot.

IDK if the PL has a young player of the year award,but if they do he must be a prime candidate to scoop such an accolade.

Sean isn’t a ‘very lucky boy’. McNeill was promoted to the senior squad by Dyche, he then started the odd game at the beginning of the season. It’s true that he earned his place in the team through injuries but the same could be said for almost all of our players, Nick Pope being a prime example. It isn’t luck.

Dwight is a class act - he’s come good a little too late in the season to attract attention from one of the big boys so I can’t wait to see how he develops with a pre-season and a chance to improve his physicality.

Phil Foden is'nt hyped up. If anything - it's actually the opposite. He's being left to play odd games (which is now slowly increasing) and this allows Guardiola to bring him through at the right pace.

He's only hyped up if you don't watch enough football.

Exciting and a player I’d pay the addition fee alone for to watch. Exactly why footballs about.

what I like about McNeil is despite him having a previous poor delivery or a poor touch he always wants the ball and is always positive. Whilst I won't say he single handily saved our season he has had an impact that none of us could ever have imagined. Enjoy him whilst he's with us and shows the long term path I hope the club take in recruiting talent from much bigger clubs
