I'd love to see them both drop but Cardiff this season will do, Brighton to take a relegation spot for next season.

You'll get fantastic odds on that happening this season.

I reckon it will be Brighton; no form, fight or confidence. Cardiff have been a bit unlucky recently, but they keep turning up for a fight and will batter Brighton on Tuesday.

Brighton were horrific today and if they lose to Cardiff they might struggle to stay up given their fixtures
Cardiff H
Wolves A
Spurs A
Newcastle H
Arsenal A
Man City A

My thoughts exactly, can see Brighton dropping,Cardiff are showing enough to suggest they can dig a couple of results out starting on Tuesday.

I’d love to see Brighton choke and go down. Cannot stand the place, the people and the plastic club.

Could I ask what you don’t like about the place and people. I lived there for a few years so interested in the take of someone who, I assume, hasn’t ?

Jedi_Master posted this link earlier. It’s the BHA forum. They already want Hughton out(63%) and 7 new players. Meltdown. Get shut of them I say.

They're 5 points clear of Cardiff and have a game in hand.

Would be delighted with Brighton going.

They are more likely to spend in the summer, Cardiff staying gives us 6 points next season ;)

Losing 5-0 at home to Bournemouth is a frightening result. For Cardiff to still be in with a shout at this stage is a huge achievement given the (lack of) quality they have.

Back them to beat Brighton on Tuesday but given the remaining fixtures of both teams difficult to see them overtaking them. Definitely prefer Cardiff to survive though - next season's Huddersfield in the making.

The place is pretentious as are the people. The club is as plastic as the people who live in Brighton.

It’s be hilarious if Brighton go down. But I can’t see Cardiff picking up 6 more points this season - they’re a poor side.

After seeing their thugs leaving the emergency exits on their coaches giving it large against pensioners women and children, definitely Cardiff, **** club who should be made to play in League of Wales

Which club would provide the most amusement over the summer if they went down?
Probably be Brighton in all honesty, they've got form for some major drama on their forum, so meltdowns over relegation would be epic.

Cardiff have their fair share of thugs like Millwall and Leeds. The most annoying fans out of the 92 clubs must be Brighton.

If Cardiff beat them at the Amex on Tuesday night, Brighton will go because I don’t think they’ll get another point. Cardiff could do it with 2 wins.

To be honest, the dream scenario would be Colin managing Brighton, and they went down, but it's gonna be close between the 2 of them. As previous poster states, I also can't see Brighton getting any more points AFTER the Cardiff game, so they must win that. Will be tough for Cardiff, but their main problem is scoring, so I can see Brighton winning in midweek, and just surviving due to the fact that Cardiff will be too far behind, and unable to catch up, even with Brighton getting no more points.

Cardiff Brighton (A) Brighton Cardiff (H)
Liverpool (H) Wolves (A)
Spuds (A)
Fulham (A) N/castle (H)
Palace (H) Arsenal (A)
Man. Utd (A) Man C (H)

I think whoever wins on Tuesday stays up. Brighton are poor, Cardiff are poor but have that "hard done by" situation which IMO is true and so are likely to have more in them-but a 5 point gap is a tough one to overcome.
Can see them getting 9 with a bit of luck Brighton Fulham and Palace-if Brighton lose on Tuesday apart from N/C which is not a given can anyone see them getting more than 3 points? I suppose the way Wolves perform against the present bottom 6 with only 11 points from a possible 30 they could get a result next weekend and if they do then I suppose Cardiff may be gone

Cardiff remind me of our first season in the premier league with SD, lots of spirit and endeavour but not quite enough quality to survive. While Brighton have been shocking, I think they have enough to get a result at home on Tuesday night to see them safe.
Head says Cardiff will go down, heart says Brighton. Less travel and enough southern clubs in the premier league already.

Two teams with a tough run in to the end of the season. A five point gap between the two and probably a little too much for Cardiff to make up, though they do have a fighting spirit about them.

I can’t stand Warnock, but I can’t stand Hughton even more. Thought the Cardiff fans were great in the stand yesterday, but the actions of them after the match aren’t good for the game. Brighton fans have always been pleasant to me. It really is a difficult decision about who I want to go down. Warnock is a character though, love him or loath him, and they’d be nailed on for a relegation spot so for me Brighton can go this season.

I agree with the post that whomever wins on tuesday will stay up. Im hoping for cardiff to stay up because next year they would he favorites for relegation (like huddersfield this year)....

I think another thing to bear in mind is that the Sala saga is (unfortunately) far from over, and there could still be some significant fall-out from this over the summer, which is unlikely to help their preparations for a 2nd season in the PL should Cardiff avoid the drop.
So I would regard it as much better for us for Brighton to go down.
