The Hell of the North. Unfortunately I don’t have Eurosport. Will have to settle for The Masters.

England is an awful place to be a cyclist. The roads are of poor condition and over crowded. Death traps

Couldn't agree more....Killing cyclists is seen as an occupational Hazard, with very few prosecutions.Top Claret wrote:England is an awful place to be a cyclist. The roads are of poor condition and over crowded. Death traps

Road surface is no where near as bad as Ireland but one of the reasons I left was two or three road rage incidents almost every time I went out on the bike. In 14 years here I’ve had two occurences and both drivers were in UK plated cars.Top Claret wrote:England is an awful place to be a cyclist. The roads are of poor condition and over crowded. Re: For those who enjoy cycling competitions...
I rode part of the Paris Roubaix course in my cycle racing days many moons ago,i wont forget riding over those cobbles, my goolies were never the same after lol, these lads are as hard as nails, they dont roll about over the ground screaming like most fotballers, up they get on their bikes and off again. One of the toughest sports there is out there, great race is this one, sorts the men from the boys.
