Preston Manager
Looking like being the new West Brom Manager about ten minutes ago, now signed a new 3 year contract at Preston.

Re: Preston Manager
Just announced it on the Wigan v Norwich commentary. Given what had been said I’d assumed the move to West Brom was just about done and dusted.

How lovely to see West Brom having their pants pulled down

Re: Preston Manager
Trevor Hemmings must have given him a commitment on spending - he is already over £40m in - still being in his 80's he might have decided it is now or never for his team in his lifetime

Used and abused.
Re: Preston Manager
Well done PNE sticking one on WBA's nose
Re: Preston Manager
The little Jock had just bluffed the Knobbers into paying him more!
Re: Preston Manager
Done well to get a new three year deal out of Preston seeing as they’ve had a very indifferent season.
Re: Preston Manager
Or maybe WBA pulled out after seeing how easily they spanked his team?

Re: Preston Manager
Had a poor start but I think they were missing some key players through injury (Maguire, Browne) - been very good until recently. Considering money spent and actual squad on paper he's done a good job.BurnleyFC wrote:Done well to get a new three year deal out of Preston seeing as they’ve had a very indifferent season.
Saying that though, I think this is more WBA ending things rather than Neil as he couldn't have got much closer to issuing a 'come and get me' plea to them, and that includes the post match interview at the weekend.
Re: Preston Manager
I was talking to an ex-professional goalkeeper who has been to a few Knob Enders games this season . His view was PKE really aren't that good overall and Neill has done wonders to get them where they areBurnleyFC wrote:Done well to get a new three year deal out of Preston seeing as they’ve had a very indifferent season.
