Chorley were well in front at one point weren’t they?
Re: Massive game next Saturday !
Yeah they have had a bit of a wobble, both teams suffered defeats on saturday ... It is game 40 for both of a
42 game season so the winners would be in touching distance of the National League

Chorley can’t get promoted can they? Think they won the league last year but ground not up to scratch for the league above.

Re: Massive game next Saturday !
We dont have a game so got tickets for this one. Chorley definately ok for promotion ground wise. The manager is a primary school head. All players part time.
Its a must wing for Chorley now after recent results.
Stephen Jordan plays for them.
Stockport fans very confident.
If Chorley get promoted i would expect them to remain part time. My Chorley FC mates are very realistic and mostly former supporters of "big 6" clubs.

Years ago Wigan Morecambe Marine Fleetwood and Chorley all played in the same league together and Chorley were always close to the top.

On Saturday my local non-league side Workington were relegated from the Evo-Stik Premier North, to fall to their lowest level since getting voted out of the Football League in 1977.
We played them in the League Cup up here in the late sixties. Anybody go?

I was there ldc. I went up with my dad, it was difficult parking and we got on the ground about 5 minutes after the kick off. I can not even remember the score, though I think we won.

Burnley won 1-0 courtesy of a Colin Blant goal.

I was also there LDC. We went in a car driven by a keen Burnley football and cricket fan named Cock ( can't remember his first name. CT will remember him). Sadly he is no longer with us. He and his son travelled to a lot of away games.
