We played Bolton there in Feb and that was my first ever visit.

If that stand is on the same side as the car park with the vehicle museum behind the goal then that stand used to be a metal shelter with no seats.

The first pic ibehind the goal is where the vehicle museum is/was. Ok if the LFA offices are on the same side as the car park and the car park's in the same place (where the cricket pavilion/function room is) then that's where the shelter was. Behind the other goal they had something like a shelter too but the other 2 sides just had metal barrier going around. Where the the all seater stand is had a bit of a grass verge. If I'm remembering properly. Totally changed.

That Brian Pilkington stand wasnt there even though he lived in Leyland and had his estate agents when I lived there. I used to see him knocking about.

I knew it had started out that way and then become an unofficial reserve team cup but I thought they’d restricted it to U23

It sort of is a reserve team cup nowadays but there are no restrictions. We went out last season to a very experienced Preston team. I’m expecting two u23 squads though on Tuesday.
