Juve v Ajax
Only caught the 2nd half but Ajax were outstanding. Their movement and vision at pace was superb to watch. Totally bossed Ronaldo's mob. Great football

Superb result and performance from Ajax tonight, on the back of a 4-1 win away at Real Madrid previously.Rumbletonk wrote:Only caught the 2nd half but Ajax were outstanding. Their movement and vision at pace was superb to watch. Totally bossed Ronaldo's mob. Great football
And all achieved with a Wage bill of just £47 million. Remarkable stuff and team of the season so far, for me.
Re: Juve v Ajax
Would be great for football if Ajax could go on and win it. Have actually built a team the hard way by being shrewd in the transfer market and using their academy. As opposed to a club like City who have simply bought success and sold their soul to become a wealthy foreign family's plaything.

I tuned to this when Barca went 2 up and they were superb. I didn’t give them a prayer after they went behind but they totally dominated from that moment.

De Ligt only 19. NINETEEN!!! Wow. I stick my neck out and say no CB in history has been that good at that age.

Outstanding result! Great to see a storied club such as Ajax back on the map.
Also, to see the arrogant barsteward CR7 out of the CL warms the cockles of my heart.

Re: Juve v Ajax
So Ajax play the winner of tonight's tie between Man City and Spurs. And it looks like Barca will be playing Liverpool.

De Bryune has had his picture taken with Drake apparently. Will the curse continue?FactualFrank wrote:So Ajax play the winner of tonight's tie between Man City and Spurs. And it looks like Barca will be playing Liverpool.

They might well give Spurs - minus Kane and Son -a bit of a hiding!

Well, the curse continued.
What happens if Drake joins Aaron Ramsey celebrating a goal?
