Which ground is this?
Usually consider myself to be good at this sort of thing but I’m stumped.
My wife took it on her approach to Leeds Bradford yesterday. It’s crap quality which sort of makes it more interesting.
She said they few over Bristol, Wales and Saddlworth Moor before landing on the unconventional side of the airport, via Bolton Abbey and Otley Chevin.
It’s all the industry surrounding the ground that has done me. Not a big stadium but certainly much bigger than a a Chester or Wrexham.
Possibly a rugby stadium if not football?
Cheers

I’d have expected the scrap yard next door would’ve migrated there by now.TheFamilyCat wrote:I went through Rotherham on the train last week and was surprised to see how much of the of Millmoor is still standing.

That alleyway down the side of Millmoor to and from the away end holds some memories...

I was reading up about Millmoor the other week, cannot remember where.
Think there is a covenant on the ground which says it has to be a sports ground. I think a youth side still play on there, pitch is still maintained. And yes plenty of mentions of the alley and the scrapyards.

On the subject of covenants they can and have been removed one example is the Gay Meadow at Shrewsbury, there are now houses built on the site.
