Hoping to round off a nice day of results (apart from Rovers winning), with Norwich taking all 3 points.

Win tonight and they'll be 7 points clear of 3rd with a much better GD and only 3 to play.

admittedly I've not watched much of the Championship but I've never been overly impressed by Norwich considering they are top of the league

Brilliant strike.

1-2 Wednesday Fletcher.

Looks like it went in off his arm.

Came off his arm. Should have been disallowed.

they've conceded 52 goals so far this season in the league, we conceded 35 when we won the league. The ease with which Fletcher gets in between their defence would mean a field day for most teams in the PL

Norwich equaliser. Last kick of the game.

you'd make that defender who gave away the free kick take a long walk home, dreadful decision

I've enjoyed what I've seen of Norwich this season. They score loads of goals, leak them like a sieve at the other end, but never give up.

play like they did tonight in the PL and they wont get 15 points

The key to that free kick:
1. It happened in the D. Virtually impossible to get it up and down.
2. It was taken from about 3 yards beyond the D, so 4 yards further back than it should have been. The ideal position!
3. It was already about 20 seconds past 5 mins when it happened.

George Boyd a huge engine again! Here, there and every f..ing where! Fletcher sharp too.

Well done them.

. didn’t think it was well deserved at all. He thought Wednesday would have deserved victory if they would have held on - wasn’t that Norwich’s first shot on target in the second half?

Certainly, Fletcher's goal should have been chalked off.
Clearly handled it.

I get everything you say there Ian....

Except point 3.

You know as well as I do that what goes up on the board is the MINIMUM added time. If the board says 5, but the ref plays seven, seven it is.

Point taken with the two ex clarets tho...

Norwich will need to splash a shed load of cash on what is always the most important area for newly promoted teams. Defence. It's not unusual to find that the strikers who got goals for fun in the Championship whilst helping a team gain promotion, can actually get a few goals in the PL (with the odd quality addition). But time and time again teams think decent Championship defenders will cut it in the PL and they really can't and suddenly you're letting in goals left right and centre. It really has to be the starting point for any promoted team and any spending. Fulham this season are an absolutely classic example of this, but they're not the first and they definitely won't be the last.

Historically defence has always been their issue in the PL, hopefully they've not learned from previous experience !

It did EVENTUALLY, but remember we'd had 2 previous cracks at it and Dyche in particular learned from that first season up that you HAVE to get a quality defence. After you've got that you can press and stifle other teams and give them possession and absolutely bore the pants off most of the spectators too and maybe even nick a goal, but you've a chance of ultimately being successful, where successful equals survival!

I think Norwich will concede every week nearly in the prem. But I have been impressed with there attack and the two fb are very good offensively. If they keep the same team I give them a shout to stay up there better than Cardiff imo.Draft in a new team like Fulham and they will drop! I think Fulham would of stayed up but for all the big money signings.Cairney and ream etc got dropped for the newbies look what happened.
