Brighton will be happy with a point.
Wolves looking the more likely to score, they're not exactly on the beach, but need to show a bit more flair in the last third of the pitch.

Re: Today's footy
decent point for Brighton, leaves Cardiff needing snookers really
Re: Today's footy
0 goals in the last 5 PL games will be a concern for Brighton as realistically there's only the Newcastle game you would fancy them to get any points from. Still a tough ask for Cardiff to win 2 of their last 4 games.

Brighton's failure to win also means they are highly unlikely to catch us now.
We will however drop a place tonight after the Newcastle v Southampton game.

I always remember the comment by Chris Hughton regarding our style of play.

Brighton had a good cup run though, some utc posters would be happy with that even though it could end in relegation..........of course they would be happy!
Re: Today's footy
What's the best result Newcastle v Southampton as it would be good to get a few extra million in the bank regarding places?

both have more than decent run ins, guess a draw. Probably prefer a Newcastle win to keep saints under a bit of pressure thoughSpijed wrote:What's the best result Newcastle v Southampton as it would be good to get a few extra million in the bank regarding places?

Re: Today's footy
I'm not sure of all the permutations, Soton have also got Bournemouth and West Ham to play. We are 2 points behind Bournemouth with a game in hand. It would be a brilliant end to the season to finish above both these teams (and Palace).Spijed wrote:What's the best result Newcastle v Southampton as it would be good to get a few extra million in the bank regarding places?
But, we've got games against Chelsea (5th), City (top), Everton (10th) and Arsenal (4th). Let's see how we go on Monday evening.

Re: Today's footy
They both have much easier fixtures than us, so probably 0-0 with 8 sendings off.Paul Waine wrote:I'm not sure of all the permutations, Soton have also got Bournemouth and West Ham to play. Re: Today's footy
Would be a fantastic signing. But the only reason he ended up at newcastle was because a late deal to go to China fell through because they left it too late. Rondon through his agent said at the time that it was an option which would be explored again at the end of this season. If thats where he wants to go they will blow most English clubs out of the water with wages.Vegas Claret wrote:yeah very lucky to get away with that

I've not been watching, but I'm smelling sarcasm. I actually laughed the last time I heard his post match analysis, it was that bad. He must have a lot of shares in BT.tim_noone wrote:Michael Owen talked some sense there after the Newcastle game.....

Rafa will be sh!ting money again in the summer up there... he will be going there unless they aim higher. Ashley wants out and has realised he ain’t going to get the deal he wants unless they are a solid mid prem team.Cleveleys_claret wrote:Would be a fantastic signing. Re: Today's footy
Left the sarcasm in the drawer... Basically he was on about Newcastle fans wanting rafa to have more money to guarantee them a higher placing etc. M.O. Correctly said....all fans want their clubs to have more spending power even City ...but it doesn't guarantee success, quoting Fulham.FactualFrank wrote:I've not been watching, but I'm smelling sarcasm.
