Parking at Stamford Bridge

Post by Cheshireclaret » Sun Apr 21, 2019 12:45 pm

Afternoon all,

5 of us are going to the match tomorrow evening (3 adults, 2 kids) and my brother-in-law has offered to drive.

I did it once when we went there in our first season in the premier league and recall parking in an NCP (can’t recall where) but just wondering if anyone has any ideas or recommendations?

Getting the train and / or the tube is already a recommendation that has been made, to head that one off at the pass :D

£6.80, booked a spot .9 miles from the ground with just park.com.

Great service and ap. will be using again.

Good Lord! I think most of the parking around the ground is resident permit only. Thinking of driving to Hendon or similar and getting the tube.

we used a 'park on my drive' website which allowed us half a days parking other side of river from Stamford Bridge (about 2 mile walk) for about £8
... recommend this for anyone wanting parking close to venue.
Also we beat Chelsea 2 - 3 which made the return journey particularly enjoyable! :D

Whoever recommended getting the tube in has made a bad call....

You won't be able to get there by tube....

Will be Earl's Court and walk for those of you coming in from Central London.

“On a bank and a public holiday, pay and display parking is free and restrictions do not apply to resident permit bay parking.

Single yellow line waiting restrictions apply on bank holidays and on Good Friday, but do not apply on Sundays (including Easter Sunday) and Christmas Day.”

We’ve managed to find a space at a nearby hotel - The District Line is closed today so that was out of the question in the end!

See you all later - UTC!
