Brighton need six points from Tottenham away, Newcastle at home, Arsenal Away and City at home. And that’s just to catch where we are now!

They might get a draw against Newcastle.

Assuming Cardiff don’t win today, if they lose another game we’re safe.

mathematically yes, I don't see Cardiff getting more than another point tbh. I'm usually pessimistic when it comes to Burnley but even I've had my feet up since the Cardiff win

Mathematically it is 2 points from safety as Cardiff could reach 40 points so we would need 41 to guarantee our Premier League status for another year. However, unless we manage to win tomorrow night, 1 more Cardiff defeat would be the thing that ensures PL football next season for us.

Let's give Colin some credit. He can be like an orangutan who has just had a bollock chopped off, during the game. But 10-15 minutes later he seems quite calm with his post match interview.

Actually they need 5 points, but tbh, I reckon they've got more chance of 2 lucky wins than a win and 2 draws.

Yes but he plays for Liverpool so therefore is a excellent player and will automatically get picked for England.

For me he’d be good for international football in fairness. Trippier is similar in the attributes and weaknesses, and he excellent in the World Cup.

If we could combine Aaron Wan-Bissaka and TAA we’d have the ultimate fullback on our hands.

It does seem that to be an international full-back defending is no longer important.

Likewise with the new sweeper-keeper in that passing the ball out of defence seems to be just as important as actually making saves.
