I usually do the interviews on request but we were listening and I was fuming with all this anti football nonsense.

Terrific performance tonight, terrific result but the whinging top six club didn’t like it. Some clown on the tube said that the FA should step in and ban Dyche.

Burnley fans brilliant at the end. We all knew just how well we’d done.

Just hope I got the Burnley view over loud and clear.

some of the night presenters are decent but daytime is hideous, I suggest you choose when you listen.

You were absolutely bang on with what you said. And it's not just what you said, it's how you said it. And yes - you did get the Burnley view over. You (rightly) made Luiz look like a bit of a prat by turning the tables. Any Chelsea fan would have thought, "hmm.. he does have a point".

I did an interview back at the start of the season and Dean Saunders was on. He was excellent and actually listened to what I was saying and responded accordingly.

Nothing to worry about there Tony, you did us proud, stated our case and then summed up the season very succinctly.
Burnley's performance in 2019 has been excellent, on reflection 2018 wasn't too good though.

I recall Chelsea doing just that in the Champions League Final they won a few years ago under Matteo against BAYERN I think. They defended deep for most of the match if memory serves well?

Evening Standard (tues), generally reporting for the Chelsea fans - but, a bit of balance when they said that Barca and Bayern would be smiling at Chelsea complaining about Burnley's defending - "11 back in their box" and stuff - as that's exactly how Chelsea set up to defeat those 2 clubs in the European Championship....

Anyone who didn't see it, might also like to know that The Times report scored Ben Mee 8, and Eden Hazard 7. Chelsea also got the lowest ratings across the two teams.
