Pre-season tour

Post by Dublin7Claret » Wed Apr 24, 2019 1:37 pm

Any news or even rumours of pre-season for next season? Surely we're due a match in Ireland :-)

The West Country is particularly nice in July and August every year. 8-)

Dyche did say on claret tv that it was increasing more difficult not to tour abroad due to the premier league & Burnley brand, if we want to increase our fan base & revenue streams it must be more likely that a week in warmer climbs is on the cards?

A trip to somewhere warm and sunny, Spain, Portugal perhaps? be a nice excuse to get away from the missus for a few days, or to be honest anywhere, just to get away from her.lol

Why don't you get in contact with your local Spanish clubs and get them to invite Burnley over. Explain how many Clarets would attend the games and Bob's your uncle.

Let's not be bringing any random German teams to Turf Moor, unless we introduce a knife amnesty before the kick off.

We usually go and do lower league teams a favour by playing at their grounds.

A trip to Leeds then.

Fota Island is the place. We went up straight after, the first use. Fulham and probably Norwich two seasons after using it.
We used it again this pre-season and it all looks like ending happily.
