Man City ticket watch

Post by Leisure » Thu Apr 25, 2019 9:37 am

Just 41 showing available online (some of those sat together in JHL) but presumably others still available at the ticket office.

If you go to the buy tickets online on club website you can see stadium plan with seats still unsold for each home game

Thanks - I'll have a look at. Seats near us always seem to be free. Wouldn't mind trying to get one for my lad.

Dunno how they do it but nearly all season from Greek game onwards there has been a few away fans dotted around block 5 JHL . These seats are never available to purchase either so presume they’re sold on .

Really? I would say it's happened for the top 7 clubs in every game we have played them in the premier league.

You might not notice it if your in a block of ST holders who go all the time.

When we played United this season I left with 10 minutes to go as I was going back to Bingley festival and United fans were streaming out of all home stands.

Not as common in the CF stand anymore as tickets aren't available that often, but longside lower at both ends and behind the goal always has loads.

Thankfully are fans aren't as badly behaved as once were and hardly any trouble occurs.

People buy bulk season tickets and sell the tickets on weekly. Some instances you will see different people every game

A family member of mine has a full row in the JH and they're used by different people but not sold

You might get the odd one or two but hundreds of City fans in the home end won’t happen and has never happened.

Unless Leeds come of course, then there are, er, "thousands" in the home ends.

I did the sums before I saw your comment. Spending thousands per season to share the seats out seems like a massive exaggeration.

Fairly sure most of us have sat in the home end occasionally following Burnley away. It's no big deal, there'll be the odd one or two dotted around the ground which is fine. The myth of 'hundreds' in the the home end is a popular story every year for some big game or other and never happens.

So from a full row, to a block.

Is the really answer 4 season tickets?

It's funny this 'sold out' thing, wasn't Cardiff supposed to be sold out?
I sit in the CFS and noticed quite a few empty seats .

The club aren’t bothered about actual “bums on seats”
If nobody turned up at all it would still be classed as a sell out as all available tickets have been sold.

I’ve done it on a number of occasions, but if it’s on the telly I’m not sure watching with the oppo is a better option.

If he's letting 7 City fans sit in the JH he may find his ST's cancelled for the Arsenal game and for next season. But I really think that the story is bull.

Depends on the team and where you sit doesn't it? Most of our ground is tame, because most of our fans aren't knuckledraggers. So if they turn up and just sensibly watch the game, then they won't have a problem.

Too be fair I wouldn't of known there were any Man City fans at in the ground at all until they scored.
An easy game to sit on your hands.
