What or who is he pulling off?

Beating Man City wouldn't be his greatest triumph if you look at last season.

Assuming this isn't some kind of ghastly euphemism, are we talking about the City game or keeping us up?

Because if it's the latter, then neither in this universe or any kind of parallel one are we going down.

And yes, that's a fantastic achievement. :)
His greatest triumph? Very probably, given the first half of the season.

His greatest achievement was to land the job.

He continues to demonstrate he was the right man.

He transcends football management.

He is 'The Dyche'.

In a way, we needed a season like this one. Last season was great, but i feel complacency set in because of it.

What this season has shown is that minor tweaks to the team plus loss of form can result in long win-less runs in this league.

It has also shown beyond doubt, that Dyche knows what he is doing.

I feel we'll have learned more from this season than the last, especially with recruitment, and targeting players who fit with our style of play.

Although it has at times been a painful and worrying season, it is a reality check following the euphoria of 7th place and European football from last season. We have had a superb second half to the season.

I am still reserving judgment on the targeting and recruitment of new players though....

Without the first half of the season the second half would not have been possible!

Promotion to the premier league on a tiny budget.
Beating Man City with a team that got relegated
Winning the Championship
Staying up
Beating Chelsea
Finishing 7th
Staying up when having 12 points at Christmas
...all greatest achievements

Beating Man City with a team with nothing to play for... well done, and will massively affect the top of the league. But not a greatest achievement

Continuing our streak of beating the previous season's champions the following season - priceless but not really a greatest achievement contender

That one line in your post is all that's required. Sometimes less is more.

Depends how you define greatest. In terms of a shockwave in English football, sure.

I'd wager Pep would prefer facing Arsenal Sunday rather than Dyche's warriors.

Congratulations Sir best answer of the year , `The Dyche` has proved once again the uneducated doubters on this board wrong again

I think City are in for a very nasty surprise tomorrow. We should stick to our usual methods with perhaps even a little more of a "Welcome to Burnley" physical approach - especially early on. City will come flying at us, I reckon, wanting any pressure or danger to have gone by the end of the first half.
If we make it unpleasant and can pull them in, Chelsea-style, to a bit of a scrap, we'll get at least a point.

If we get a draw or a win tomorrow, I can see our Team getting a Guard of Honour onto the pitch at Anfield, next Season.

They would as well wouldn’t they. It’d be a cringe fest
