Watched unseen footage of the Rolling Stones on Netflix Last night a good if scary watch...the Violence that followed them about was quite frightening especially the concert in California...looking back to the sixties and seventies now governments around the world created so much grief.......The reason flower power emerged.

I find it funny people (some even on here) mention why they didn’t play Woodstock. Yet only 4 months after that Altamont happened.

I think they played Altamont for free...truly frightening footage..The Naked girl..The brutality of the Hells Angels The killing of the guy affected the Stones Badly phsycho logically.

The Stones didn't play Woodstock because at the time, Jagger was filming "Ned Kelly" in Australia.

That's the oft-repeated explanation, anyway.

Among others....
