I know this continued, albeit to a lesser extent, during May but I've managed to incorporate a solution which has already trapped a few.

New registrations now have to have their first posts approved before they become visible to everyone. The mods get a notification and we are then able to delete the new user and the post. Hopefully this will work and keep these unwanted posts away.

Big thanks to those who have been reporting them, it's been a big help.

CT - it looks like the guess the gate board has been infiltrated over the past couple of days - I noticed when I checked the username for the latest spam thread on the forum

Thanks Rick_Muller - I'd only set the new restrictions on the Bee Hole End forcing the first post to be approved. I'll do the same on the others now to prevent this if I can remember how I did it.

Thanks again, think I've sorted that little loophole.
