David against the Cyclope .A titanic fight

Post by davemanu2000 » Sun Apr 28, 2019 1:16 pm

Let us make a comparison between these two clubs for match of the day .
1
1. Burnley is considered as a small town club whereas Man City as a big city club

2. Burnley has a small stadium that has a capacity of about 22,000 whereas Manchester city has a brand new stadium built on the strength of petrodollars whose capacity exceeds 60,000

3. Their revenues cannot be compared to very evident reason .

4. The local club has the best English Manager whereas pep Guirdialo has roamed about many European clubs with big success.

5.Burnley cannot compete with big city clubs on the transfer market. City has a number of world class players for which it can afford to pay .

6.May be Burnley has been beaten by City more frequently but remember Burnley was crowned as champions at Manchester .

7.Burnley is one of the founders of FA .There was no Manchester city within .

8. The recent performances of both clubs are brilliant . Neither of them will give way.

9. Should Burnley win today, it will destroy every chance of City to renew winning the title .

10. The winning Burnley will be acclaimed throughout the world as a giant-killing feat just like DAVID who destroyed the one-eyed Cyclope

Great post Dave but DAVID didn't beat the one-eyed cyclope ... Goliath was a Philistine not a cyclope m8

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goliath" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

He felled the Philistine giant Goliath with a stone from his sling .....he then cut off Goliaths head and the Philistine army fled.....

22-carat anxiety is sitting on the faces of Citys Manager and his players ,City will be lucky if the final match is a draw .

It was really frustrating. The pitch was too dry, the City goalie was wasting time throughout and City kept attacking us. It is almost impossible to score against a team who keep possession all the time. It’s anti football

Nevertheless, we defended very well. Only a few millimetres decided the fate of the match,
