Magnificent. It's the little things that impress me, like the fact that Sean Dyche takes the time to shake the hand of every kid in the room.

Yes a pleasing piece, the humanity of SD shines through as he answers the kids' questions and shakes their hands.

Just watched it and that stood out to me. Not one of them was missed out.Sausage wrote:Magnificent. It's the little things that impress me, like the fact that Sean Dyche takes the time to shake the hand of every kid in the room.

Did a post yesterday about how much the club has grown and how far it has come.
It seems like every week that passes nowadays, something comes out that makes me prouder of the club and the direction it is going in.
Long may it continue, we truly are a club that gets where it’s roots are and isn’t shying away from them.

Talking of little things, who hid the seated and/or standing leg curl machines, along with the seated and/or standing calf machines, in the gym?Sausage wrote:It's the little things that impress me,
Training the quadriceps to increase speed and explosive power is one thing, but if you don't place an equal emphasis on the antagonistic hamstrings and companion calf muscles you will get poorly balanced leg development.
The natural consequence of neglecting balanced leg development will be an increased potential for injuries. It's similar to putting a Ferrari engine in a car without upgrading the chassis and brakes.
They are probably in there somewhere, at least I hope they are.

I liked the bits where Chris Wood was leaning down helping the young lad get a portion of food in the canteen and Ben Mee doing something totally natural with another kid. Shows they are just normal decent blokes.
