Building a great side who play some superb football at times. Still a couple of pieces of the jigsaw to complete but he has all the makings of becoming a great manager and could be really pushing the top 6 next season with Everton

Wolves and Leicester will hoping to break into the top 6 next term as well,the weakest of the "big guns" might be Chelsea,no Hazard in all likelihood,and perhaps a transfer embargo for a couple of windows.

The signs for Everton are promising,emerging young squad,should be able to spend this summer,Pickford still doesn't convince when under pressure,last night he wasn't tested enough alas.

I don't know about Silva but I was very impressed with their Black player at the back who's name escapes me.

Zouma - he’s on loan from Chelsea.
If they got a good goal scorer to play alongside (or instead of) Calvin-Lewin they could challenge the likes of Arsenal and United and even Chelsea without Hazard next year.
But not convinced yet about Silva - his teams are inconsistent and have historically had long spells of poor results in a season.

If Abramovich pulls the plug I can honestly see Chelsea drifting back to being a mid table side. They never have been a big club like United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs, just punched above their weight due to Roman’s billions. Take him out of the equation and they are just another West Ham / Palace type club.

Abramovich has already been tightening the purse strings at the Bridge,and if they don't qualify for the CL a 2nd season running,what calibre of players would go there,and that's not taking into account the possible transfer ban they might have to encounter,plus who knows what future Sarri has there.

Hazard will go in the summer window,and i wouldn't rule out other big names jumping ship.

Chelsea would appeal to any would be overseas investors.

As for Everton. Decent going forwards without a real focuk point striker.

Remarkably only City and Liverpool have kept more clean sheets than Everton. 14 theyve kept. Brilliant really

I'd have Silva here over Dyche any day of the week, completely different levels of coaching. I knew Silva was a good en when he went into a rank bad Hull side without cash to spend and after 2 or 3 loan additions he had them up as one of the best sides in the division for the 2nd half of the season. Reminds me of the football we played under Coyle, direct high pace attacking sexy football, now it's hoof hoof hoof.

I doubt that Silva could do what Sean Dyche has done on the same budget.
But there is little to doubt that he is a top manager who should do very well with Everton.
