Re: Today's Football
Never a penalty in a million years, terrible decision right under the ref's nose. Really hope we beat these cheating tunts with the world's worst ever penalty decision in the 98th minute of injury time, when only 4 was awarded.KLClaret wrote:How can those jokers in the studio justify that non penalty?

Re: Today's Football
They are all told to favour decisions and never to use the word "Cheating" because it's not good for the brand. Obviously crap refs like this useless joker help the cause tremendously.KLClaret wrote:How can those jokers in the studio justify that non penalty?

A watford fa cup win would also put manu in the 2nd qualifying round (just like us last year)Top Claret wrote:Just seen the United result, brilliant. Looks like europa league now for the swampies

Come on Watford. That would totally fuk United up if they had an early start. They would have to cut short their club toursAshevilleNCClaret wrote:A watford fa cup win would also put manu in the 2nd qualifying round (just like us last year)

Re: Today's Football
Good for us as (a) Brighton now can't finish above us and (b) Arsenal can't realistically catch 4th place now when they come to the Turf.

Arse still have a lot to play for against us, 5th or 6th place makes a big difference to when they start their season. We will beat them thoughFactualFrank wrote:Good for us as (a) Brighton now can't finish above us and (b) Arsenal can't realistically catch 4th place now when they come to the Turf.

Best result possible at Arsenal - they can't get top four now and Brighton can't get above us.

Re: Today's Football
'orrible game that was; full of diving/play-acting/whinging at the ref. Two extremely dubious penalties the only goals.
No reason we cant beat Arsenal next week if we can generate the right attitude- and there's every reason to seek some recompense for past recent injustices against them.

What an odd weekend.
Spurs lose so United and Arsenal both contrive to keep them in UCL.

Re: Today's Football
The gap between the standard and constancy of the top 2 and the next four is incredible.

Arsenal's away form is dire, but they always seem to get a helping hand at the turf, lightning can't strike three times in a row surely.

Been busy all weekend so i've just seen the Liverpool free-kick that led to their 3rd goal, how on earth is that a foul.Barry_Chuckle wrote:Blatent cheating........im sick to the back teeth of it.
The saying used to be "cheats don't prosper" when in reality, honesty gets you nowhere and cheating is becoming acceptable.
It's killing my enjoyment of what used to be the beautiful game
It's not even discreet anymore, they are blatant about it.
