Half way through the week, the weekend is fast approaching and our final match this season. I'm rather excited and now wondering where we will finish in the League. 14th, 15th and 16th are possible and each place up is worth an additional £2million. Finishing 14th after a season of two halves would be a huge achievement.

Newcastle and Southampton appear to have easier matches against relegated teams. A Burnley draw and a Southampton win would mean goal difference would play a part.

So let's have your score predictions...

I can see Valencia winning the game but Arsenal going through on aggregate

Much may depend on how Arsenal fare in the Europa League
and whether they get through to the final as they may not field their strongest side
against us. Even if they do they may not be that motivated with the final
to play on the 29th.

Hopefully we'll be motivated to get a result against them given the ill luck we've had
in past fixtures and finish above Newcastle and in 14th.
That's assuming Newcastle lose at Fulham.
That'll be another 4m in the coffers and/or an increase in the players' bonuses.

We could still finish 16th if we lose and Southampton win against Huddersfield.

So I'm going for a 1-0 to us.

Only problem.there is we don't get awarded very legitimate penalties.

If Arsenil win tomorrow (and you would assume they will) they will need to win the Europa League to gain entry to the Champions League.... so hopefully the big names will be rested.

0-1 we looked devoid of ideas or threat against Everton. We look like we’ve given up and are on the beach. Fans are paying to see a bit more than that so I hope this game is different.

We have our favourite ref on Sunday, i think they will be up to their usual cheating tatics and Deano will be watching them like a hawk, should the cheating b.....ds get away with it, i think they will rag a win as usual, but if the ref gives us a break [which he often does] then a 1 0 for the Clarets is my prediction.

Hard to call this one. Arsenal won't want to risk their best players, saving them for the final. Our lot are safe and probably won't fancy picking up any injury that would ruin their holiday.
If our lads go for it like every point matters then we should do 'em. If the gunners play a second string of players who think a good performance may put them in contention for a place in the final squad, and at the same time our lads are going through the motions, we'll get hammered at least 4-0.
In conclusion, it's more about who turns up for us than Arsenal.

A little off topic, would be good to see Petre Cech play his last game at the turf and get a good send off from the fans.

I'd like to think we're too professional to be "on the beach", but I imagine it's very hard not to be like that after a long hard season where particularly since Christmas there's been a truly monumental effort. Hence I can only see Arsenal winning (again!) Probably a 2-0 stroll for them.
