Podcast Recommendation

Post by AotearoaClaret » Thu May 09, 2019 3:43 am

Hello all.

Podcast recommended by a friend who advised that Andy Payton is the guest on the third episode.

Think the premise is lower league/ non league strikers.... not sure how they’ve judged that, but there you go.

Burnley lad Gareth Seddon, who most recently featured in the Salford City documentary is a host.

Might kill an hour or two!

Just listened on the way home from work- excellent and well worth an hour and a half. No spoilers, but seems like he’s doing much better. Good luck to him- Clarets legend!

Thanks. Listen to a podcast most days. Will add this to the list. Lot of time for Andy and wish he could get a break back in the game. Think he has a lot of experience that young kids cluld benefit from. On and off the field.

Just listening to this.

Great insight into his mind set and use of psychologist over the years

Give Undr The Cosh a try. Jon Parkin and Chris Brown basically just chatting about footy with a different guest every week. The Brett Ormerod and Nicky Weaver episodes are hysterical.

If you like this - they stole the idea from a podcast called “the magic sponge” with Jimmy Bullard and a couple of comedians. They’d have players who were a little more high profile than the undr the kosh lads.

It finished a year or 2 back but can still be found on podcast apps.
