Soubry and Rudd where their usual dreary selves,god if people think Theresa's bad wait until Rudd becomes PM(which i think she will BTW),remember she was the HS who oversaw the Windrush scandal.

Re: Question Time
Turned it off after 5 minutes it basically involved 6 supposed grown ups on a panel and the audience shouting over each other with Fiona Bruce totally incapable of controlling matters.

I haven't watched for a while.
Has it changed from a heavily sided remain panel and the audience going mad at them for being totally out of sync with what the public wants?

Farage shouting over every answer and interrupting everyone.
I was listening to music on my headphones on my PC and I could still him shouting at everybody.
Back Farage, then you are an idiot.

Re: Question Time
Thought it was a bit more spicy last night, of late Ive found the programme uninteresting. Fiona Bruce is the wrong person to chair it, she doesn't have control and is poor at stepping in at the right time. It made me realise how good Dimbleby was.

Re: Question Time
QT only works when you don't let one person grandstand it.
That is where the chairpersons role is crucial, and hopefully Bruce can step up to the plate, but I fear that the Beeb are terrified of getting hundreds of letters from people who just want to hear Farage talk about utter shite for an hour so they continue to give him a free pass.
Now C4 news/Sky news on the other hand are making sure Farage (and others) have to answer questions they rather wouldn't.

Re: Question Time
absolute pantomime programme these days, although it was funny to see farage try and bluster his way through, only to be shown up to be the empty vessel he is.
that welsh bloke absolutely skewered him on the only policy he's got.

Which is the best way to deal with people. This is why I feel the clamour to ban Tommy Robinson from speaking publicly is dangerous. Nick Griffin was allowed on QT, people soon realised he was a bumbling idiot who couldn't answer questions and he lost appeal, Farage the same but the more he is silenced the more popular he seems to get, but if you try to ban the likes of these from speaking others rather than seeing them for what they are turn it around and start thinking they don't want people hearing them as they speak the truth.
Farage was asked one question last night to which he replied "well no I don't know the answer"
He wasn't the only problem on last nights show the other 4 were no better, which when 3 others are MP's explains why we are where we are today.

Donald Tusk
Jeremy Clarkson
Dave the Racist knob who I house shared with at Uni
The drunk fella in the Simpsons
Thick but noisy kids from school
Vicky Pollard
It's like we've regressed as a society. My brain hurts with all this.

Re: Question Time
Surprised that Farage irked some so much. He was typical Farage - over simplifying complex situations and blaming all on the EU, all whilst getting the occasional point correct, broken clock style. That said, he didn’t speak for the first 10 minutes, whilst the other three hanged themselves, Soubry particularly so.
Bruce clearly couldn’t control the egos of Soubry or Farage. Throw Soubry riling the crowd into it to with her perfect caricature of Westminster bubble dwellers, which Farage exploited in his shouty style, and it was ridiculous.

With a few 100k pound donations that would be revealed the official way, the same way every party has to record donations.

To be fair to all the far right bank accounts that fund him, he's certainly giving them value for money.

Re: Question Time
QT is a joke.
Recently the studio audiences have been full of noisy Brexiteers who will shout down any contrary opinions rather than an equal mix of folk reflective of wider society.
Presumably this is because it makes 'better' telly, but it certainly doesn't encourage a decent debate.

Re: Question Time
To be fair there was no opposition for him to beat last night so an easy win was predictable.
A joker, a cabinet traitor and Jonathan Reynolds.
That would be the same Jonathan Reynolds whose constituents voted 59.29/40.71% to leave the EU.
This is how he works for them:
Votes for asking the EU to postpone Brexit indefinitely;
Votes for a Second Referendum;
Votes against the PMs deal repeatedly;
Votes against the backstop being replaced with alternative arrangements to avoid a hard border with Ireland.

Farage...an opportunistic LOSER...stood for parliament 7 ( SEVEN ) times...failed 7 ( SEVEN ) times...a one trick pony .On the programme...she ( Fiona ) needs to sharpen up but its difficult when you've got an audience like that one who won't even listen to all the arguments.

You do understand that when he talks about "No Deal" and then we have the freedoms to trade on superb terms with the rest of the world, he's not only massively simplifying a huge and complex agreement, but also ignoring the reality of how these things work?

Right, assumed it was something along those lines.
I see where you are coming from but I don't see a Farage swing automatically voting for the Conservatives.
And if he say, became a Conservative, then he's lose as many voters for them as that would gain.
